For the past 30 years, Dr. Pierre Asmar has dedicated his professional medical career to helping people create their families. His trademark, “Experience, excellence, and success” has guided the foundation for his work at Washington Fertility Center, a leading center for fertility care in the United States and all over the globe. Dr. Asmar’s trademark continues within his role as Founder and Medical Director of Surrogacy America.
In his determination to provide patients with leading care and information, Dr. Asmar has published writings on infections and infertility, the emotional stress associated with infertility, ectopic pregnancy, cellular and biochemical endocrinology, endometriosis, laser surgery, and other related subjects.
Before Founding Washington Fertility Center and Surrogacy America, Dr. Pierre Asmar was a clinical instructor at the University of Minnesota’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG); a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG); as well as a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART) and the American Medical Association (AMA).
Dr. Asmar completed his residency in obstetrics/gynecology and his fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, where he also served as an instructor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Asmar’s specialty is Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
